Members of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists (MARR) are specially trained using structured and prescriptive treatment protocols to support couples through all phases of their fertility journey.
In a recent study carried out by the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists, 68% of clients conceived whilst having reflexology using these prescriptive treatment protocols. The study looked at 180 clients, of whom 122 conceived whilst receiving reflexology, 100 conceived naturally, and a further 22 were being supported during IVF.
Reproductive Reflexology (or Reproflexology™) can be used as a stand-alone treatment to enhance your natural fertility or with all forms of assisted conception including Clomid, IUI, IVF and ICSI. It can also be used to support individuals and couples using surrogacy or donors in IVF cycles. It is one of the most effective forms of integrated medicine using results from medical testing to measure improvements.
Before we meet
- A pre-conceptual questionnaire is emailed over which needs to be returned ahead of your initial consultation
- If relevant, Sarah also needs to view any fertility blood work, semen analysis or other tests that have been carried out prior to the first meeting, please consult your GP/consultant/clinic for paperwork.
Initial Consultation
- It is best to see both partners together at the initial consultation, however it is understood that this isn’t always possible
- Sarah explains the process in depth, setting out expectations and booking in appointment slots
- Discussion centres around the pre-conceptual questionnaire, delving deeper into what life looks like for both partners
- A short 5 minute repro-assessment is carried out on the feet of both clients
Treatments
- Female recommendation – weekly treatments for a full menstrual cycle, followed by two treatments a month leading up to ovulation and 5-7 days post ovulation.
- Male recommendation – 12 weekly treatments to support the life cycle of sperm, followed by a new semen analysis test to evaluate progress if possible.
- For couples planning to start an assisted fertility process, Sarah recommends beginning treatments up to three months before medical intervention begins in order to help regulate the menstrual cycle, balance hormones, reduce side effects from medications and promote healthy sperm – however, please do not worry if this is not possible. The protocol & timing of treatments will depend on the type of assisted fertility being undertaken, the drug regime and egg collection and transfer dates.
- Techniques to treat any underlying concerns will be carried out first, followed by specific protocols depending on various factors. Consultation time is always factored in.
- If the 6-month mark does come, progress and options will be reassessed
Costs
- Initial joint consultation £140
- Initial single consultation £90
- Treatments £42
- Treatment block bookings of 8 sessions £300 (full price £336)
